Thank you, a very good article indeed. I would just clarify. Not "Commercial bankers can make money," but the banking system can create money. If there is only one bank operating in the economy, it cannot create money. The entire banking system is needed for this: the Central Bank and at least two commercial banks. And this is very good because the money supply is created without increasing the quantity of money in the market, i.e., without exerting inflationary pressure.
